MARION PLUNKETT, CMRP*
Founder of PCI, Marion Plunkett is a leading marketing research practitioner. She is a well-known and respected moderator of exploratory research and has a reputation for bringing fresh insights to the Brand development process with a focus on up-front positioning development. Marion oversees all PCI research projects and has demonstrated the ability to balance the needs of all stakeholders through every stage of the research process.
Marion’s extensive experience includes conducting in-depth and group interviews - in Canada, the United States, and Europe - with a wide variety of target audiences ranging from consumers of all ages to CEO’s of major corporations and from high-profile media personalities to specialized technology experts within U.S. brokerage firms.
Prior to forming PCI, Marion spent several years with Ogilvy & Mather in both Toronto and New York. While at Ogilvy, she served as Director and VP of Research and was a member of the Board of Directors.
Marion is a Past President of the American Marketing Association Toronto Chapter and has been a frequent speaker in both Canada, the United States, and in the UK/Europe.*
She is active in the Arts, having been on the Board of Directors of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, a Patron of the National Ballet of Canada, and Business Advisor to classical musical group, Quartetto Gelato. Marion is also founding Director of the Colorectal Cancer Screening Initiative Foundation.
