MARION PLUNKETT, CMRP*

Marion PlunkettFounder of PCI, Marion Plunkett is a leading marketing research practitioner. She is a well-known and respected moderator of exploratory research and has a reputation for bringing fresh insights to the Brand development process with a focus on up-front positioning development. Marion oversees all PCI research projects and has demonstrated the ability to balance the needs of all stakeholders through every stage of the research process.

Marion’s extensive experience includes conducting in-depth and group interviews - in Canada, the United States, and Europe - with a wide variety of target audiences ranging from consumers of all ages to CEO’s of major corporations and from high-profile media personalities to specialized technology experts within U.S. brokerage firms.

Prior to forming PCI, Marion spent several years with Ogilvy & Mather in both Toronto and New York. While at Ogilvy, she served as Director and VP of Research and was a member of the Board of Directors.

Marion is a Past President of the American Marketing Association Toronto Chapter and has been a frequent speaker in both Canada, the United States, and in the UK/Europe.*

She is active in the Arts, having been on the Board of Directors of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, a Patron of the National Ballet of Canada, and Business Advisor to classical musical group, Quartetto Gelato. Marion is also founding Director of the Colorectal Cancer Screening Initiative Foundation.

MIRA DAVIS-KELLY, RESEARCH CONSULTANT

Mira Davis-Kelly, an honours graduate from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, is proud to be working on your brand/positioning development research with the rest of the team. From her psychology background, Mira has developed a keen interest in people’s thoughts, actions, and behaviours and enjoys researching the needs, wishes and perceptions of various target audiences. Her research capabilities embrace both qualitative and quantitative research and analysis.

In her role with PCI, she has worked in such categories as publishing, retail, packaged goods, beverages/soft drinks, automotive, and B2B with target audiences from pharmacists to children 6-12 to adults to businesses and their employees.

DAN HART, RESEARCH ASSISTANT, VIDEO SPECIALIST/ETHNOGRAPHER

Dan Hart co-manages qualitative and ethnographic studies and acts as videographer/ analyst for shop-alongs and in situ sessions.

Dan is an honours Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate from the University of Arizona Film Production program in Tucson. While in Tucson, Dan produced several documentaries, nurturing a lifelong fascination with people’s behaviour behind closed doors - ethnography seen through a documentary lens. Dan also worked as an assistant to a Los Angeles-based producer of feature films in Tucson for a year.

Dan’s writing/analytical talent and proficiency with technology combine to make him a vital addition to the team.
